Description
This is a simple script I made which modifies the default weapon- handling behavior so that the player must manually reload his weapons. It also fixes a bug (feature?) in the games ammo inventory system which makes weapons reload themselves when they are put away or swapped. Basically, the player becomes solely responsible for managing their ammo inventory. Ammo in a clip will not change until it is depleted through firing the weapon or reloaded manually via the reload key. No more 'pocket- reloading' of weapons stored in the inventory. Weapons with an empty clip also show a reload prompt and make a 'dry fire' sound when they are fired.
Installation is simple, as always. Drag the included files to your game directory.
Also ensure you have the following prerequisites installed:
ScriptHookV
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2015)
Since this just modifies the existing weapon behavior, there are no explicit usage instructions. Just install it and use weapons as you normally would.
If you enjoyed the mod (or hated it) please leave some constructive feedback in the comments area. Thanks (:

@Wh0_ DAMNIT, this was one of my favourite mods. It's been over a year since the author updated it, so I'm not sure if we'll get an update any time soon (or ever).
Dear @CamxxCore can you please update this wonderful mod? Its one of the best mods on here and we hate to see it die. If you take donations Id be happy to contribute in keeping this alive.
Here is the fix for latest game update curtesy of alloc8or https://aka.alloc8or.re/K8v6bHroqhd Tested and working!
@DugiHowser The beta version has been installed, but it cannot be used. After all the ammunition is fired, the weapon will always be in the empty warehouse and hang up state, cannot change the ammunition, and there is no dry fire sound.
@21821 I am not sure how else to assist since I do not code. I just know that it works for me on all of the games weapons that I tested on the latest version. Wish I could help you further :(
@DugiHowser Where did you download the beta version?Author homepage?
@21821 No use the link that alloc8or provided https://aka.alloc8or.re/K8v6bHroqhd
Doesnt work anymore cant reload when you rmagazine is empty.
@DugiHowser that doesn't work - still cannot reload once the clip is empty. need the OP to update this mod.
@CamxxCore

When will the mod be updated?

@CamxxCore Dear CamxxCore, could you please update your wonderful 'Manual Reload' mod when you have time.
The mod don't work, it write this in ManualReload.log file : "[LOG] Failed to find address #5. Exiting..." Help pls
aw man i beg you pls update this, it has so much potential! :D
@DugiHowser @alloc8or I was also using this fix and was working for me but I had to reinstall GTA V and lost the file, the link is not working any more, by any chance do you still have the fix file?
@h25 fix file is broken for me
@TayDaRugrat I found my old files, https://we.tl/t-sNQeWoudQE these are the ini and asi files that are working for me, just place them on your gta v root folder, hope it works for you too
