Mugger Mod: Ever had millions of dollars with nothing to do with it? Well worry no more because now you will have to watch your back in the crazy city of Los Santos and maybe even have to re-earn your millions. This mod introduces unpredictable, aggressive mugging attempts by NPCs, making encounters highly dangerous.
Features :
Core Activation - Automatic mugging attempts occur randomly every 10 minutes (600 seconds).
Stealth Approach - The mugger spawns silently. There are no minimap blips and no on-screen notifications to warn the player of the mugger's presence.
Active Pursuit - The mugger actively runs toward the player's current location, continuously updating their path to chase the player.
Armed Threat - The mugger is armed with a Pistol from the moment they spawn.
Aggression Trigger - The mugger will only engage in a gunfight (draw their pistol and attack) if the player deals damage to them or if the player has $0. Otherwise, they remain focused on the theft.
Theft Mechanism - If the mugger reaches the player (distance < 1.5m), they steal up to $1,000,000 of the player's cash, and the player is temporarily knocked down.
Permanent Loss - If the mugger successfully escapes (gets more than 350 meters away or despawns after the theft), the stolen money is permanently lost and is NOT returned to the player.
Recovery - If the player manages to kill the mugger after the theft, the full stolen amount is recovered.
Manual Control - The player can press the designated trigger key ("." by default) to start a mugging or to cancel/reset a stuck mugging event.

Before using this mod, you must have the following installed in your GTA V root directory : ScriptHookV

Place files from folder into your Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/ folder. (Create the scripts folder if it doesn't exist)

Ha -ha! Oh man that's a great ideal for a mod, after all it's GTA, why not. What would really be cool is if the mugger ran up to the player sitting in a non-moving car and robbed + hijacked the car too. Imagine if the player just stole the car and got played by another NPC thief. The thief opens the car door, pulls the player/us out of the car like the usual animation plays out and runs off with the car. Lol. Now that would be even more amusing.
But I don't know how that would work with the assigned personal vehicles the game gives to the protagonist, since those vehicles would probably end back in the hands of the protagonist, after the NPC successfully stole their vehicles. Maybe exclude those particular vehicles? But other vehicles not assigned to them, which they just stole themselves, might be easier to script in the game. I don't know.
Anyway, just another ideal if it could be done. I'll be following this mod with interest. :D
