Vehicle Keeper
This mod allows you to preserve your favorite cars! It is compatible with Single Player Apartment mod.
This modification is derived from the official Save Vehicles mod with a lot of refactoring and vast improvements. Vehicle preserves with all of the upgrades, fuel status and other different details. Saved vehicles identified by the vehicle model and vehicle number plate. So if you save the same vehicle model with exact same number plate - you will override the old one.
In order to update onto a new major version X.0.0 please remove scripts/VehicleKeeper directory due to possible incompatibility.
Note: If you've got versions conflict of any dependency try to create a directory under the scripts folder and put only .dll files from the scripts folder of the zip archive to this folder instead of putting them directly to scripts folder in the root of GTA 5.

crash when you tray save any add-on car
duplicated saved cars specially car #4
It was working before. Then I deleted it for some reason then today O reinstalled it. Its not working. Any fix???? And when I installed this my indicator mod stopped working why???
hey man. love the mod, is there any way I can save more than 8 cars?
After testing multiple vehicle persistence mods I finally found the keeper. Most of the other vehicle persistence mods are just buggy af.. This one just works for the most part. Although it is true that it saves the fuel status while you're in-game, but once you leave the game the save doesn't actually persist. The vehicle damages also only saves to some extent. I did a test where I completely wrecked a car and I get out of the car and fast travel to the other side of the map and fast travel back to the car and the car was magically repaired to some extent. The car is still damaged, yes, but it is in much better shape than where I left it when I fast traveled. But I must say, this mod is much better option compared to the other vehicle persistence mods. I know the mod hasn't been updated for some time now. But I hope you will keep updating this mod to make it even better. And maybe even fix the ones that I mentioned above if it is possible. But overall, this is a great mod! Kudos for your work on this mod, @null_pointer :]
I found a solution for fuel status not saving upon leaving the game. Use Enhanced Native Trainer's tracked vehicle system alongside this mod. All you got to do is upon leaving the game unsave your vehicle through Vehicle Keeper menu or simply press 'z'. Then enable Track Vehicle and Load Tracked Vehicle Upon Restart through Enhanced Native Trainer's menu. That way the fuel will actually be saved! And on restart remember to save your vehicle first through Vehicle Keeper menu or simply press 'x'. Then disable Track Vehicle. Done!
Didn't expect an update to this, but that's dope, 2 things that will make this complete
Being able to choose a Color for the Blip
Fixing the error of: The engine of the cars being turned on upon reloading the game.
@thalilmythos thanks, will add the color selection after the next update. The engine is being turned on intended, the mod preserves state of the engine)
@null_pointer That's the thing, I went through the trouble of leaving a car with the engine off, and restarting the game, tired 2 times, the issue was there, I did it months ago, maybe my memory is failing me, can you make sure of it?

Menu is crashing my man
@thalilmythos please try to update the ScriptHookVDotNet2 and if it doesn't help the NativeUI, the latest versions are in the archive as well, if this won't work pm me

@null_pointer for the other character when u switch the vehicles aren't spawning automatically. It would be great that when u switch to Mickael / Trevor or Franklin the vehicles spawn automatically. And the color chrome doens't save properly. Thanks
@ribyby I think this probably won't be convenient for everybody. Regarding the chrome, thanks for mentioning, I already put that into description, there's also no way for now to preserve the bulletproof tires unfortunately.
@null_pointer My game lags from time to time when I use this mod, it's only when I drive a saved car around..
Most likely because it saves the car while driving maybe? I have no idea, but it's kindoff annoying and not really useable for me this way... And no, it's not a performance issue.
anyway, everything else works fine, and I do like it.

I was able to use this just once but for some reason the script just crashes. I updated my ScriptHookVDotNet2 and NativeUI. At first I thought it's just my addon vehicles but it also happens to stock vehicles too.
the first mission Repossession... when you get in your saved car... it causes the mission blip to disappear. the mission becomes unplayable.
