@Golden_Darknezz I've taken a bit to look into it and indeed the file that you receive from this site does differ from the file I originally uploaded- also the VirusTotal results for the file received on this site greatly differ from the results of the file I submitted.
Here is the VT results of the file received off the GTA5-Mods site: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/0cd4bde8a1a54150f689c200b541a81c82596aa1d5f9a520ac17c8a79aa8bf0f/analysis/
Here is the VT results of the file that I submitted to GTA5-Mods site: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/c050be5d5c9fde31103991fab9741029bccd64dad35b1d87a342108e91b0d9d2/analysis/1469134885/
The file received off this site is 10kb larger than the file that I have submitted- however all of the files contained within seem to be the same size. So I have no idea what happened; perhaps the file has been compromised- I'm not in a position to say whether or not that is the case as I do not know what happens to a file once it is submitted to this site. However, if you would still like this mod I have uploaded it to my dropbox and it can be downloaded here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32075749/CarControlsv3.zip
There may very well be a perfect explanation as to why the file on this site differs from the file I uploaded, however, that is a question that will have to be addressed to the moderators of this site. I do not know.
Thank you for pointing this out to me, and I am very sorry if the file has been altered in some way- but it was not my doing if that is indeed the case.
@blacktieboy I may be a jerk, but this file does not contain malware- I was just a noob and compiled the script in debug mode.
@Dennishartwig Thanks for the kind comments- unfortunately I haven't touched GTA 5 modding in over a year; so I doubt I will ever get back into it. Maybe when online gets shut down and I have a reason to play singleplayer~
@itscueto @YagamiLight-Hachiman
I do not know the cause of that issue, however, it seems to be something stemming from me compiling the script in debug mode. Would be a really easy fix (recompiling) however I've made changes that aren't exactly finished since then.
@HerrLimette
I can add it to the V4 but that is on hiatus due to college stuff. I'll see what I can do though.
@Dawis67 This version of the script was compiled in debug mode- which can apparently cause false-positives. GTA5-Mods decompiles all scripts and ensures they are clean before they are posted.
Anyone interested in testing the next version please email me at ArpyClarkson@Gmail.com or follow me on twitter @ArpyClarkson
@rappo Oh, I never even thought of that- thanks for pointing that out
@RaZeR' Probably has to do with the nature of the scripthook- the scripthook works by latching on to the GTA5 process and editing the memory addresses of the game directly. So I would say yes, false positive.
Anyone interested in keeping up with the development of this script or helping with bug-testing can follow it/me via Twitter at https://twitter.com/ArpyClarkson

If your problem persists please send the contents of you "carcontrols.log" file to arpyclarkson@gmail.com
@xenazfire
At the current moment I do not believe there is a way to do that via the scripthook- but I will look into it for the next version.
Just an update, v4 is still under development and might take a week or maybe two before it is complete. A lot of new stuff in v4 so keep an eye out for it in the weeks to come~
Just an FYI, new GTA patch broke the scripthook so no scripts will work if you're running the new GTA patch. Either have to unpatch the game or wait for a new scripthook to be released </3
