@oldnapalm already implemented, but I can't seem to find why the dude dismounts the bike after exiting the menu. That's definitely something I'm not doing in the mod.
@oldnapalm I don't really do much regarding free mode autodrive. It's a built-in GTA V feature that chooses randomly where to go. I haven't implemented manually inserted waypoint navigation, but shouldn't be very difficult to do.
@wolfhunter my take on this, looking into the future probable multiplayer development of the mod, is that bicycles will behave as bicycles always. I might introduce changes where you could multiply power depending on the motor vehicle you choose to use, but it's not decided yet. What you want to do is not very different from pedaling your bike while controlling the character with a game pad or with the ANT simulator
@oldnapalm I've thought of that option, reading a file with speed to power values and interpolate, but... who is gonna have the knowledge to do that? I mean, you need a power sensor in the first place to come up with that table. There are no widely available tables out there, not even for the most common trainers, so all the effort I put on that feature is not gonna be effectively used by hardly anyone
@lucaslan the mod doesn't take speed or cadence as input for movement. It only takes power or the speed of a smart trainer. Accepting speed as direct input would make things very unrealistic and not suitable for a future multiplayer mode as it disregards all the simulation parameters (slope, wind, weight). Inferring speed from cadence will be a step further in inaccuracy. You can try to get a power meter for your crank or pedals.
@pedalpusher @maar sorry, I thought there was a phone app that did that but apparently thee is only heart rate related. The only one I've found is the legacy version of Trainer Road (the new version removed the power broadcast feature). Keep in mind that in order to get an approximate power figure from speed the app needs to have an extensive database of power curves for dumb trainers. That requires a lot of time and money to build and probably is why only Zwift and trainer road have them.
@maar I'm afraid they won't, but you can use a virtual power app in your phone to convert the speed to power and use that power with the mod. I'm not planning to support BLE sensors at all.
@nodo_43 Already implemented in 0.3.0.2, which I'm about to upload :)
@defiancecp the obstacle dodging only works when autodrive is off.
