That's unfortunate, but I totally agree with your statement in that it would be far from easy and Legacy_DMC's attempt at bringing the sound to the game was great for what it was supposed to be.
As far as MW being ancient, that is true, but the car is also featured in the newest game afaik, so there's that.

It would be absolutely insane to see you recreate the iconic P60B40 sound from the BMW M3 GTR ALMS racecar one day. There's a good amount of source material out there to aid, even a direct sample from a videogame!
