Here for the whole community is a 2014 International IC CE American School Bus. As many of you already know, I have been winding down my presence in the community over the past year or so. This is the last vehicle that I will release for GTA V, as I will be retiring from GTA V mod creation. I will now take a more passive role in the community, but you still might be able to catch me on my YouTube channel, popping into Kuffs livestreams every once in a while, playing on HSG, or on Quinn Dickinson and Cole Childers' FiveM server. My GTA V modification career has been filled with many ups and downs, and I can truly say that this game has one of the best modification communities around, so I want to dedicate this model to everyone who has played a role in my modding journey. Anyways, I have been sitting on this model for a while, but have not been motivated to fix any of its bugs. This was a much needed vehicle, in my opinion, to have a fully realistic American school bus that isn't an ugly vanilla edit or a conversion of a fictional bus from Driver:SF, and to have working lights, a stop sign, and a crossing gate.Feel free to use this model in a video, but it would be greatly appreciated if you take a few moments of your time to acknowledge my work both in your video and at the top of your video description.

To install the vehicle all you have to do is change the vcf and vehicle files to what slot you want to replace, navigate to the latest patch day
you have in your MODS folder, and place it in the vehicles.rpf there.
For me it would be:
\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday17ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
To install the ELS VCF file, navigate to:
\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
and drag and drop it there
To install the vehicle.meta file, navigate to: Not needed for this file

ELS Keybinds for Model:
K: Amber lights, activated ~200ft from stop, when approaching a request-only stop, or when swerving lanes to avoid an obstacle and alert other drivers on the road.
Q: Red lights, signifying to all traffic to stop, as passengers are boarding/disembarking the bus.
L: Rear Connecticut-spec white Beacon, some drivers prefer to use it, especially to increase visibility at night, while others do not.
]: Extended stop sign and crossing gate, should be activated whenever the red lights are activated.
Extra 11: Retracted stop sign and crossing gate, should be activated whenever the red lights are NOT activated.

Hi there I am a School Bus enthusiast who plays, I was wondering if you could post a vehicles.meta file to fix the collision, and hands on steering wheel, as well as better handling thank you. Also please tutorial on how to fix the turn signals not working on the back and front.
pls fix the extend stop sign and crossing gate because its extra number is 12 and retract stop sign and crossing gate is extra 11 and i cant seem to find a key to extend the crossing gate and the stop sign

@DK Mods its ez no trainers needed i just had to use another els for a different bus(blue bird school bus) so retracting crossing gate and stop sign is mapped to ] and to extend grossing gate and stop sign is mapped to alt+] also i made a script to open the doors

@DK Mods Can you please make more of these school bus mods in different types and names such as Type A, Type B, Type D and School Van? You can look up "school bus" on Google for more school buses if you want. And also, there is another common Type C school bus name. And for the wheels, can you please add common color type, yellow?

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL:
Just rename and replace the files of the any vehicle in the Vehicles.rpf so the given files are ic bus. If you for example wanna replace ventorno, just delete the ventorno files, place in the icbus files, and rename them to ventorno. then use a trainer to spawn. Ventorno's are rare vehicles in sp to find so find a common one.

for those who are confused like me, just don't replace it with ventorno(zentorno) 😂.
perhaps "pbus" is the best to replace with!?, but of course you will lose your prison transport bus.
"the vehicle that you are replacing with(original) should be as similar as possible to the new vehicle(in terms of size)"
make a backup just in case
