The Yosemite 2500. The official truck of unpaid child support, back taxes, and a crippling gambling addiction. Either the driver is someone who spends too much of their time binge drinking and smoking 2 packs of redwood golds per day, or putting every cheap color matched part on the truck they could afford from their minimum wage job at the local Up-n-Atom. Now with a single cab variant!
Disclaimer
If you want to use the truck in a project of your own, just shoot me a message on discord at frostblade2007. Also if you have any questions (or if you want to report any bugs) just shoot me a message as well.
Installation Instructions
- Copy the "yosemite2500" folder to
"Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks"
- Then use OpenIV go to
"Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml"
Then right click, and add a new line, then type "dlcpacks:/yosemite2500/
Changes
- Front grill changes to represent the IRL counterpart (01-04 2500hd Silverado)
- Solid rear axle
- Actual tow hitch
- Heavy Duty wheels
- Tow Mirrors
- Custom Handling
- Also, the front/rear plates, trim, and badges are removeable via extras.
Known Bugs
- Turbo textures are a bit messed up on the turbine side
- Rear door windows don't fully break
To do/fix
- Add proper mod parts
- Custom liveries

single cab update has been uploaded, now just waiting for approval
The SP addon folder has no yosemite2500 folder inside and if you try to rename it, it crashes. If you install together with the fivem folder, so the entire yosemite2500 folder, it also doesnt work.

@Georiash I downloaded the latest gameconfig, and it still crashes.

Do you know why it's not working and crash the game while loading?
Because some file is missing in the mod file.
If you look into dlc.rpf, you will find the xml file which named 'content.xml' and if you look into it, you can see that there should be the meta file that named 'carcols.meta'.
However, there's no such a file that named carcols.meta in the entire yosemite2500 file.
That's what causing the game crash.
Still crashing in SP, probably cause the carcols missing
@OWLCAT It's fixed im just gonna wait for the next update to be done to push out the fix, the new update is almost done and really just needs testing
