VERSION 1.00, 2.00: An edited version of the T20 Audio Wave Container .(awc) featuring a louder, high-revving V10 sound inspired by the Lexus LFA 2010. The sound can be applied to any vehicle through a trainer's engine audio swap feature or by editing a vehicles.meta line. This sound replaces the Vanilla T20 sound. There is no noticeable difference in the size of the modded .awc as the files and their duration along with their bit-rates and Hz remain the same to maximize compatibility.
The videos Project 6 & Project 6.1 have version 1.00 of the sound. The others are development landmarks. Version 3.00 Video is the Add-On version.
[INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS] for versions 1.00, 2.00 & 3.00 (Replace)
Go to Mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks / mpluxe2 / dlc.rpf / x64 / audio / sfx / dlc-lux2
Drag and drop supercar-10-eur-v10.awc on that folder while on Edit Mode.
WARNING! It is recommended to keep a copy of the original .awc so you can revert anytime you want.
In case you wish to REVERT, the original vanilla file can be found on GTA V / update / x64 / dlcpacks / mpluxe2 / dlc.rpf / x64 / audio / sfx / dlc-lux2. The one you replace should be the one on the "Mods" folder which is the folder OpenIV loads upon launching, as described above.
(1)Use a trainer to assign the sound to any car you want, or (2) go to the vehicles.meta of the car you want it assigned to and replace its current audioNameHash-carID-audioNameHash with audioNameHash-T20-audioNameHash.
Note: Rockstar Editor Clips play the corresponding engine audio found on the audioNameHash of the depicted vehicle's "vehicles.meta". Use the second method if you want to export content using that feature.
[INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS] for Version 3.00 (Add-On)
1. Extract "lfav10" folder to a location of your choice then drag and drop it in
GTA V / Mods / Update / x64 / dlcpacks
2. After you've chosen the vehicle(s) whose sound you want to change, go to
Mods / Update / x64 / dlcpacks / car folder name / dlc.rpf / data
and look for "vehicles.meta". In case a vehicles.meta has a number of different cars, use Ctrl & F to find the name of the vehicle you're interested in changing and the audioNameHash lines should be close by.
3. Right click Edit, then change the text between the two audioNameHash as shown below:
audioNameHash/lfav10/audioNameHash
Refer to INSTRUCTIONS.txt for precise lines because many symbols found in the code are not displayed on this description.
Bugs: Braking Sound Interruption - FIXED (Version 2.00)
----- Absence of sound at 70km/h - FIXED (Version 3.00)
[VERSION 2.00 CHANGELOG]
-Amplified and reworked idle sound (soon to be replaced by the real sound when the add-on final version is released)
-Increased volume of engine deceleration .wav for slightly more realistic downshifting.
-Got rid of a sudden deceleration sound interruption I noticed when braking.
-Reworked acceleration pitch fluctuations to match better with the real V10 sound.
-Increased start up sound volume to match the other amplifications.
[VERSION 3.00 CHANGELOG]
-The sound is now an Add-On! Installation instructions are also found on the .txt file
-Rolled back to a cleaner version of acceleration sound after noticing it was better
-Fixed absence of sound at 70km/h
-Added real startup and idle sounds, courtesy of Asedrus
-Reduced volume and pitch on deceleration sounds for slightly more realistic downshifting
-Collectively composed .rel files for more control over the sound
-Reduced noise
The sound was created in cooperation with Asedrus, who played a key role in the creation of the sound and helped immensely at all stages of development. The Add-On version would not be possible without his help and expertise on .rel files. Pay him a visit, he has a good set of add-on sounds of many iconic high-performance cars.

This is not the final version of the mod as there is still potential for improvement and our sound development capabilities are increasing rapidly. This Add-On Version is a milestone for me as is, but it can become even better, provided that more research and effort are put into it.
Experimental deceleration sounds were placed in the Replace version 3.00 which get rid of the high pitch unnatural sound.

@drlq99 The LFA has one of the most challenging high-pitched sounds to simulate. Due to the fact GTA V has no car sound even remotely close to the LFA's V10 and its .awc sounds are low quality mono files which even have the sound of the wind in them it's pretty hard morphing the sound accurately and getting rid of all interference. The muffled sound is a direct consequence of GTAV sounds not being given the attention they deserved. Compared to the 2008 GTA IV, these sounds are of much lower quality unfortunately :(. I'll work on it more as time progresses but there are limits to how good an edited sound is considering all the problems that reveal themselves when you so much as add 5 decibels to the .wav.
@BannedBliss https://youtu.be/Psw-1D_sYHA Uploaded this vid, please check out my rev meter at around 5000 rpm :D That scratchy sound starts at 2nd gear and for each of the gears that comes after it, all at 5000rpm and above. Thanks for listening to my feedback! =D It sounds like crumpled plastic that's rustling in the wind. I'm using enclosed headphones and I set my system volume at minimum.
@njhon2000 Thank you for going to such length to make this better. I edited the sound yesterday reducing about half the medium-high frequencies but I think the noise persists due to the low quality audio files. I might have to start it from scratch, possibly even changing the sound altogether. I should have a new version next week.
Not bad, a LFA sound is really hard to make ! but it should be more like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjhocJ4QgBk&ab_channel=InsideLineVideo or like this https://www.motor1.com/news/409219/lexus-lfa-dyno-run-v10-sound/ keep working Bro maybe a fantastic sound will come out, you are on the right way! :) from ForzaH4 it also really lovely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkPwt6pkpqk&ab_channel=IsuckAtDriving
@TeamHimes Version 2.00 would not be ready yet if not for these videos, thank you for your contribution!
Currently pending approval.
@BannedBliss thx Bro :-) it sound better than before, I can't wait for the endresult:-)
@garn123 As of today, it's an Add-On sound! Enjoy!
@BannedBliss I love you bro !!!!!!!! wish i could give you 50 starts, you deserve no less !!!!
@garn123 Your generous rating at the beginning is enough for me!
@BannedBliss man this update was sweeeeeet! Thanks for sharing bro! Still giving you 5 stars like last time! Finally, that scrunchy sound is gone!
Btw @BannedBliss if you don't mind, can you make an replace version of version 3.0? I tried using the add on deature, but it didn't interact with my mod well. I have a LaFerrari mod and seemingly, the car disappears from my garage when I use 3.0 lmao!
@njhon2000 I'll do it since it's not much trouble, however the supercar_eur_v10 might sound different due to differences in .rel files. I'll have to test.
Let me guess, did you try using an ACCEL/DECEL from another game?
@BannedBliss I appreciate it man! I'll be patiently waiting for that update for v3.0 replacement sound. v3.0 sounds more refined.
@Aquaphobic Try, yes. The sound is from GTA V Progen T20. I edited the sound about 200 times increasing pitch among other things. Sounds from other games can be very unpredictable and I'm still looking into the .rel files.
@njhon2000 The replacement sound is uploaded, in case you didn't notice. I know it sucks having to wait.
Well you cant just edit the WAV so intensely as that will become just as unpredictable as other game's files.
@Aquaphobic I noticed. When a .wav file suffers too many modifications it becomes somewhat broken. There is room however for slight modifications provided that a good sound editing program is used.
@Bannedbliss I really appreciate it bro! My LFA sounds perfect now! =D And it doesn't have any mod conflicts too! Do not hesitate to ask for any help regarding mod testing or what not. ^_^ CHEERS!
I dont know how i add it do FiveM for the Addon Sound can someone help pls
