Welcome to New Death Sounds For Peds
The default death screams in GTA V are fine, but I felt they could be more realistic. This mod aims to replace the death screams, falling screams, and burning screams with new, more realistic ones. Some of these sounds have been sourced directly from other games, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Mortal Kombat, and a few others.
1. Use OpenIV to open your GTA V root folder.
2. Navigate to mods/x64/audio/sfx/PAIN.RPF.
Inside this folder, drag and drop the .oac files. [Extract the RAR file if you can't drag them]
(Make sure to have "Edit Mode" enabled and always work within the "Mods" folder otherwise, it could break your GTA V installation.)
3. Now, do the same for S-MISC.RPF. Enter the folder and drag the .oac files into:
mods/x64/audio/sfx/S-MISC.RPF
Sadly i don't think it works with FiveM, cuz i tried everything but it just doesn't work.
If you have the doubt that this mod works in GTA V Enhanced, the answer is yes, the only thing that happens is that to make it work I directly drag the PAIN.RPF after replacing it to the same path of the file, from Legacy to Enhanced. (or just use CodeWalker)

🔊 Improved Death Sounds v1.6
Hey everyone!
Here’s version 1.6 — this update includes:
✅ Completed all Female Pain Sounds
🔧 Tweaked and improved several minor details
💀 Added more Fall Screams for extra realism
The most important part is done! I could leave the mod as it is, but I still plan to add more content and maybe make further improvements if new ideas come up.
There are a few extra sounds that aren’t very common during gameplay, but the main work is already finished! 👍
Guys, I’m already working on fixing the issue with the Pain Sounds not playing after a while. I think it’s caused by the death screams being too long. After shortening them, everything seems to work fine, so I’ll release the fix once I have everything ready.

Hey everyone! In the next update (v1.6), I’ll be adding female pain sounds along with audio improvements and more new content.
Also, if you noticed that all the files except the BETA one turned orange, it was a mistake on my part when renaming the files to make them look more eye-catching. So don’t worry, everything is fine.
.awc failed to find .oac files when i drag and drop it. weird.

@Iannnz I just tried passing the .oac files and everything worked perfectly. Make sure you are following the steps correctly.
That's actually weird tbh, from the video theres is a tutorial where he/she drag and drop it and OpenFormats shows but mine yeah it shows the OpenFormats but not found instead. There must be solution for this one. Liking the sound tbh
