After thorough testing I can confirm that this mod stops working after installing the latest Nvidea driver at least 591.59...

@Enzo95 That sounds weird. How does it stop working? no logs?

@Chiheb-Bacha yeah it's odd! It just doesn't load, no error.. Xtremetool does the same btw. Everything else DOES work. Tested this doing a clean install but only when I delete the specific heapadjuster file, it starts up again.. very very odd.

@Enzo95 wait so the game itself doesn't even load? Could you try decreasing the heap value and see if that fixes it? Maybe it's too high all of a sudden? Also, which value do you have set in the ini? I can't try it out myself atm, but i'll ask around if anyone else is having the same problem

@Chiheb-Bacha yeah its weird, already lowered it as low as 1024 but it just doesnt start. Rolling back to older drivers works with the same ini settings, but I rather have the new driver installed for the new dlss. Also as soon as I delete the heapadjust file, everything is loading fine on the new driver.

@Enzo95 yeah honestly that doesn't seem like an issue we could fix, since the game itself hasn't changed, and the issue is only present with specific drivers. All this mod does is change 4 bytes in the code at the very beginning, which gets executed at init. I don't see how it could be causing this tbh. That being said, i'll be able to look closer into this after the 19th of february, and maybe then i'll be able to find a fix.

For GTA 5 Legacy , what are the safe recommended values for HEAP_SIZE and PACKFILEARRAY_SIZE on systems with 16 GB or 32 GB RAM?

@Gagaboy02 it all depends on the mods you have installed. The more you have, the higher those values should be. Packfile is easy to determine, as your game won't even launch if it's not high enough (you'll get an error message box on legacy). For the heap, you can double whatever the game has (you find that value in the log (the vanilla value)) and if you still face problems, increase it further. You could also ask in the 5mods discord, as people tend to install more mods than I do, and so would probably give you a better answer.

@Chiheb-Bacha I installed Scripthook simple trainer and openiv and all of that other stuff, i also installed an popular lamborghini huracan as a custom car and every single time i try to spawn the car in via menyoo mod menu my game just fully crashed do you have any idea on how to fix this? i would really appreciate it thx

So, I tried this one, and tried Pack File, with the latest NVIDIA driver. It works very well! It really is one of the best. And I have no problems, everything was just loaded perfectly and it works!
