Installation
Place Loot.dll and Loot.ini and LootMiscItems.cfg into your "scripts" folder. You will need the latest Script Hook V and .NET Script Hook.
Controls
When you are next to a dead body, press the button that it tells you in the help text on the top left of your screen, usually it's E if you are on keyboard and Right D-Pad on controller. Press the inventory key (default: I) to access your inventory and eat snacks. Key is changeable in the .ini file.

Another feature inspired from Red Dead Redemption. This mod lets you loot dead bodies for cash, snacks, or a random misc item which are defined in the LootMiscItems.cfg and can be changed for funny results. Your snacks are stored in the Inventory menu like GTA Online and are also saved.
Notifications colors as follows:
Red means you found nothing.
Green items are snacks or things stored in your inventory.
Blue items are misc items that you find and leave behind.

This is a wonderful mod! But I'd like a sourcecode.txt file that way I can edit it. The reason I am asking for this is because my Visual Studio 2015 is broken, and it always crashes when I try to repair it, so I can't make scripts for myself. Could you please add a source code to go along with this?

@jedijosh920 great job making this mod i love it can i suggest some ideas i hope you can also search vehicles and find random stuff there is a lspdfr mod that could able you to search vehicles and find some illigal stuff but it is only for lsdfr and can you make weapon ammo lootable in corpses? It would be cool if the mod features that. And maybe you can make the misc items valuable? You can sell it from other peds or sell it on a pawn shop i guess? I think my suggestions are too much but it would make the mod better.

I don't understand how I am supposed to edit the miscellaneous item list. For example "a dead rat." is one of the items you can get but how do I add more items. For adding a bottle cap would I add it like this "a bottle cap." or like this "prop_bottle_cap_01"

Nothing about this script actually functions, needs an update. Completely broken and unplayable.
broken camera position is so fuked up.
@Capicoli its abandoned. that should be obvious from the last update being in 2016. the script hasnt functioned correctly in at least 2 or 3 years. also, happy second dumpster fire

@RGTube Well, that config file is for your imagination, every line is a separate thing which can be randomly selected by the mod when you loot someone. Just keep in mind, these lines will be completing the sentence "You found...".
