THIS MOD IS IN BETA AND COULD BE UNSTABLE
VStancer is a ScriptHookV script that allows you to change a bunch of suspension-related things:
- Camber
- Track width
- Height
Along with that:
- the stuff from SlamIt is also still present, but accessible by menu this time
- visual height is modifiable, which uses the same stuff Los Santos Customs uses.
- tyre/wheel dimensions can be edited
Installation
Drag & drop VStancer.asi and the folder VStancer to the main GTA V folder.
You'll need GTA V 1.0.944.2 to 1.0.1604.0. Run at your own risk.
Opening the menu
Enter vstancer in the cheat thing.

Usage
Suspension menu is where you go to edit wheel stuff.
Load a preset and List car configs show the items saved by the next two entries. In this submenu just press Return to load a thing, or press Right to delete that entry. In this submenu you can also choose to only show matching vehicles to the one you're currently in.
Save as car saves the car + numberplate as entry. This can be used to automatically load an entry.
Save as preset saves the car + a name you insert as entry. This can be used to load an entry manually.
Auto apply cars matches the car you're in with all cars in the database and if car name + numberplate match, applies the preset automatically.
Other stuff contains the old SlamIt thing.
Known bugs (pls help)
- Lowrider vehicles hydraulics are broken
- Wheels clip through ground with extreme angles
- Wheels clip through ground with extreme low height
- While the mod is active, car wheel deformation is not active
- Self-lowering vehicles height increases instead of lowers
- Wheels reset in the editor and in cars you're not sitting in

I don't really wanna develop/update/maintain this any more. I wanted to make a v0.3.0 release which makes the thing a bit more usable/manageable, but I just can't find any motivation to do it.
Here's a list of things that would need to be done for the v0.3.0 - if you'd like to see the changes, feel free to submit pull requests or something.
https://github.com/E66666666/GTAVStancer/issues/2
That's... about it for this script.
@Wargamerstev63
It just digs around in the vehicle and related classes in memory. I think there are some vehicles.meta edits you can do to change the apparent size of wheels, which might help.
2.5 don't work for lowriders. 2.4 is the best for that.
I wish someone would tweak this vStancer for the lowriders.
We need camber adjustment ability and track width, and sizing for the rims in order to make it more "true to life".
Bowlegged in the front. So you know it's cut. Like my profile picture. It's damn well necessary and only possible because of vStancer.
Also, when you enable height tuning, it gives the hydraulics wayyy more of a realistic timing factor.. Trust me, if I had the time to figure out coding to do this shit, I would truly. FiveM's vstancer works perfect with hydraulics and i damn there want to make a FiveM server, just for proper functions of both mods.
Source is public, so tweak all ye want.
Thanks
i cant seem to get this to work, im guessing its finally broken with the latest update? or maybe im missing something
nvm i got it to work
hey people, i really hope someone will know how to help me. vstancer is awesome but works for the first 10 to 15 cars you load directly into your session, but after that, the map starts falling apart. textures dont load. tuning parts for cars dont load. i am gaming on a HP OMEN laptop with i7 9750H, 16 GB RAM, RTX 2080 8GB.
thanks to anyone who replies!
CORE: An exception occured whilpe executing 'VStancer.asi
(0x00007FFD3DAACC70)
Show me this error message during the loading screen .
Once the loading screen finish i can play the game normaly but cant access VStancer !
Thx for help .
@440clouds how you get it to work
It makes my game crash so now i have to reinstall GTA again...
SCRIPT HOOK V ERROR
CORE: An exception occurred while executing 'VStancer.asi
(0x00007FFD3DAACC70)
Game was working fine till yesterday? did this get a new update cause i am on the latest update? what happened?
is there a way to make it open with a key ?
@440clouds how'd you get it to work?
please someone tell me how i could have that in editor ???
@youngchino57 @OO7-Dimitri so, i think what i did was i reinstalled script hook, then i installed simple trainer along side it, i then installed vstancer and the key i think was (\|) its the shorter key right above the enter key, that or some button around it, but it wasn't the normal command key tho
other then that i had no other mods at the time since i wiped my gta
I got it to work somehow, removed any files related to vstancer, and just reinstalled them. Works perfectly fine now lol
Hey, I'm brand new to mods on gta, so if someone could help me out that would be awesome. The mod isn't loading into my game, I dropped the files into the main gtaV folder. Is there some sort of launcher I need to install? Or am i on the wrong version? thanks.
If the mod is disabled in-game, will these bugs disappear? I mean do the bugs only happen when vstancer is enabled on a car?
- Lowrider vehicles hydraulics are broken
- Wheels clip through ground with extreme angles
- Wheels clip through ground with extreme low height
- While the mod is active, car wheel deformation is not active
- Self-lowering vehicles height increases instead of lowers
needs a update
It still works, but for some reason if I'm using Ped Selector by Meth0ds, it stops working; when I press semicolon the menu doesn't come up anymore, it won't load any presets, either.
