@AkiBoot Yes this is normal. If you want use your custom character for playing missions, shopping in ammunition etc... just download the mod called "Character Swap"
be sure you have both Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (x64) updated to the latest version
