@ArthurLopes cant remember, although I think there was one for IV aswell. its been a low priority lately.
Honestly, I would love to see more IV map mods come out despite V being released. because IV had gotten a fairly recent update in 2016 that optimizes it even more so than it was previously. something like a remade Chicago IV or any of the other Driver 2 maps as their own cities would be fun to work on and build up from. LCPDFR community would jump at the chance to play as the Chicago PD in a fully fleshed out chicago
@krashadam all Driver 2 maps were extracted and are floating around the net somewhere, you can check my old GTAForums thread for all the cities.
@arthurlopes alright thanks. there is someone working on the whole Need for Speed map. I was supposed to help him with the radio stations but admittedly ive been kinda slacking off...
as for the quality of the chicago map, it is coming from a PS1 game, so low quality is to be expected. but due to it being nostalgic for a lot of players, it shouldnt matter all that much.
@baba0rum its fine.
@baba0rum Thats literally the maps I uploaded just recompressed in 7zip and uploaded to mediafire (which I do not use). same vegas texture bugs and all that I fixed in 2016. even same date (except apparently the hours are ahead by 2 which means whoever repackaged them lived 2 hours ahead of me)
so yea, i would like some credit for my part (and some to Skylabh and krishty who helped me export them from Driver 2)
@ArthurLopes Do not forget to credit me. I was the one who gave GTARandom the map. I also released the Rio, Havana, and Las Vegas map
I released a newer "Somewhat fixed" version of the Chicago map on Libertycity.ru and I fixed the other 3 maps somewhat since the time GTARandom converted it.
