another small but useful mod
in short: Mk II Weapons will stay in your Inventory after Character switching or Game reload.
First, you have to customize your weapons with a trainer of your choice. Once you're finished, go to any Ammu-Nation and buy or customize any weapon. Then, leave Ammu-Nation and create a new save in an empty slot.

@thalilmythos there is a limit of how many weapons can be in your weapon wheel.
if you want the combatshotgun u need to change the shop_weapon.meta of one of the online weapons that is already in your weaponwheel.
i added <availableInSP value="true" /> to all shop_weapon.meta of every weapon in the game, so when the game is loading through the dlcs it just stops adding weapons until the limit is reached. so the weapons that are in earlier dlcs are loaded and those in later ones dont.
u should be able to make your own decisions of which weapon stays in your weapon wheel by changing <availableInSP value="true" /> to true or false dependent if u want that weapon or not. just go to an ammunation, after u added all components with a trainer, and buy or modify any weapon there to trigger an autosave.

@MaxLuk Is it possible for "add-on" weapons as well? If not can you please make that as well? I am getting tired after I close my game and it didn't saved in the weapon wheel and I have to spawn them again and again pretty annoying .
@mikeyboy242424 compare one of the shop.meta files with vanilla ones so you know what to add to the weaponshop.meta of the addon weapon. if the add-on weapon is set up right u should be able to keep them in your inventory.
just go to ammunation and buy or costumize any weapon to trigger a autosave (or save manually)
@MaxLuk I took a peek at the files and saw this mod only edits shop_weapon.meta files. I understand that means it will not conflict with other mods that make changes to the weapons per se (damage, rate of fire, etc.). Is that correct?

@MaxLuk Nice mod brother, this is what everyone was looking for since forever. BTW I hope you make a mod that keeps the customization of Combat PDW and Machine Pistol whenever I save the game or swtich character
finally ive been waiting so long for keeping mkii weapons after loading save game would this also works with other newer weapons e.g. service carbine rifle combat shotgun & the aien weapons

if this just saves the MKII weapons, will you make a script that keeps the rest of the Online weapons like the Service carbine, etc.

@MaxLuk woah. didn't expect a reply, but thank you! so this script allows you to keep the online weapons after saving the game, and restarting it?
I was excited when I found this mod, but sadly, it doesn't really work, or just a little. It only lets you keep a bit of the DLC weapons, not even all the MKII ones, and what you keep losses all its attachments.
okay so, the mod works fine for the three protagonist. but when i tried to get a mk2 weapon as an addon ped, the gun stays, but not the attachments i applied, every time i load a new game. and i can't go to ammunation to save them. is there a mod that let's me access ammunation as an addon ped? because the places and blips the other main character's can access, becomes inaccessible when i switch to an addonped.
@MaxLuk I had no Idea this shit existed, DAWG, godDAMN mk2 weapons are saving, but weapons like the combatshotgun still don't do, have you figured this out?
@MaxLuk that would make sense if i wasn’t using pickips and had like 4 weapons tops, the issue at least for me is not the amount of weapons is something else, but i am already using a script to save them, this is extra, so anything that saves i still appreciated
